The Coastline around
Abu Dhabi is a Mecca for wreck divers.
Some of the wrecks date back as early
as the 1960's. The sites are only accessible
by boat but are well worth the ride
due to the prolific amount of marine
life which calls this area home. Visibility
can reach up to 15m. However wrecks
are not all Abu Dhabi has to offer with
sites suitable for all levels of divers.
We also run regular
trips to the East Coast, Musandam and
Abroad. These beautiful areas profile
a chance to dive with the giants of
the sea, whale sharks, manta rays, zebra
sharks and much more! Keep an eye on
theNewspage for details of these trips.
The Breakwater
The Breakwater is a large barrier built to protect our coastline from rough seas. In the few years since its construction we have already seen a large increase in the fish life which call this home. It is a perfect nursery for all kinds of small juvenile fish as well as goatfish, angelfish, gobies and many more.

The Cement Barges
The seas around Abu Dhabi hide many secrets including not one, not even two but three cement barges. These small wrecks are in various states of repair but all are host to a multitude of marine life, including snappers, barracuda, fusiliers, goatfish and also give you the chance to see rays on the sand around the boat.
Hannan Wreck
This small wreck is though to have been working in the oil fields around Abu Dhabi. She is home to the largest concentration of life of all our wrecks. Regular sightings include, large shoals of jacks, barracuda, batfish, puffer fish, "warty doris" one of the largest nudibranches in the gulf as well as a host of rays - bell, leopard, electric, and guitar sharks are regularly seen. Currents here can be very strong and caution is a necessity.
